Football Association of Maldives has scheduled an extraordinary congress for tonight at which several important decisions will be reached. The meeting will be held at Meerumaa Hall. 

There are three important actions on the agenda for tonight's congress. 

This includes proposing changes to the FAM's statutes, voting on these and the establishment of regional associations.

FAM has compiled a four-year strategic plan to develop women's football in the Maldives. This plan will also be up for voting at tonight's congress. 

The last FAM congress was held on March 4. Tonight's congress will also pass the minutes of the March 4 ordinary congress. 

Holding the extraordinary congress tonight was approved in the FAM Exco's July 4 meeting.
