With a score of 3-1, WAMCO has defeated Sifainge Club (DSC) in the Club Maldives Eighteen Thirty Women's Futsal finals and emerged champions. 

In the match played at Rehendhi Turf Grounds last night, Sifainge Club's Sumayya Matsushima took the lead in the fifth minute. But before the half ended, WAMCO scored two goals back to back, first equalizing and then going on to take the lead. 

The equalizer was scored in the 17th minute by Aminath Fazla, with the final's Player of the Match Mayara Cassia Buldosa scoring the second goal just two minutes later. 

The fourth minute into the second half saw WAMCO score a third goal, once again by Fazla. 

This year, three teams competed in the Eighteen Thirty tournament: Sifainge Club, WAMCO, and newcomers Biss Buru Sports Club. The teams for the final match were selected after each team played against the other teams twice. 

Best Players of the tournament are Sifainge Club's Sumayya, Sabina Kathun, WAMCO's Ashley Larissa Oliviera da Silva, Mariyam Noora and goalkeeper Fathimath Sausan. 

Last year, WAMCO lost to Sifainge Club in the semifinals. Sifainge Club became Champions last year through winning against MPL in the finals. 

This is WAMCO's first stint as Eighteen Thirty Champions.
