Having beat HDC 3-1 in the semifinals, STO Recreation Club has made it to the Club Maldives Final for the second consecutive year. 

The 4th minute of the match surprised spectators with Naiz Hassan (Dhaadhu) already scoring a goal, taking the lead for HDC. However, this lead lasted no more than a minute, with STO's Ali Haisam (Chumpu) equalizing the score.

Less than a minute into the second half, Ali Humaiz took the lead for STO. Ten minutes on, STO's final goal was scored by Soroush Sheikholharam Mashhadi.

STO's Goalkeeper Mohamed Zuhal was recognized as Player of the Match. 

Last year, HDC left the tournament after losing to STO in the Top 16. STO, meanwhile, played against Road Recreation Club (RRC) in last year's finals. 

Tonight's match between MTCC and reigning champions RRC will determine who STO will face in the finals this year. 

Tonight's match will kick off at 8:30pm at the Rehendhi Turf Grounds.
