Teams progress to Eighteen Thirty Classic semi finals

Prison Club and STO from Group A, and Club HDC and STELCO from Group B will move to the semi finals.

The teams that will progress to the semi finals of the Eighteen Thirty Classic Women's Futsal Tournament have been determined.

After last night's group stage matches at the Rehendhi Turf in Hulhumale', the teams that will progress to the semi finals have been determined, with Prison Club and STO from Group A, and Club HDC and STELCO from Group B moving to the semi finals.

Reigning champion team Prison Club beat Hulhumale' Hospital 3-1 last night, with Fathimath Inasha Adam being named Player of the Match. Youth Sports Fitness Club beat Health Recreation Club 8-1, with Youth Sports Fitness Club's Fathiman Aan Ali Shaam being named Player of the Match.

With these results, five-team Group A sees Prison Club in first and STO in second, with both teams securing 9 points, minus one match played. Youth Sports Fitness Club is in third and Hulhumale' Hospital is in fourth, with both teams securing 3 points in three matches. Health Recreation Club lost all four of their matches.

There are two matches left in the group, with Prison Club facing off against STO, and Hulhumale' Hospital playing against Youth Sports Fitness Club.

Four-team Group B concluded their final two matches last night. HDC beat STELCO 4-1, with national futsal team Captain Fathimath Saliya showcasing great skill. Runner-up MACL tied against United BML in the last minute, securing a 2-2 draw. BML's Aishath Laiba Zahir was named Player of the Match.

While HDC has won all three of their matches and have 9 points, STELCO is in second with 6 points, while BML and MACL have a point each.
