Criminal Court and Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure's Club Binara have advanced to the finals of this year's Club Maldives Classic. 

Last night, Binara beat AVSEC 7-4 in a match played at the Rehendhi Turf Grounds. 

Binara's Ahmed Ravau scored four goals in the match, while Mohamed Zidhan Easa, Jazlan Jaufar also scored a goal each. The team's seventh goal was an own goal by an AVSEC player. 

AVSEC's goals were scored by Thaumeen Nooh, Abdulla Bassam and Mohamed Naail. Thaumeen scored two goals. 

This is the second consecutive final that Binara has risen to. Last year, Binara conceded to HSPN in the finals. This year, however, HSPN left the tournament during the group stage. 

Criminal Court secured their finals spot through defeating Business Centre Cooperation's Club BCC with a score of 7-2. 

In this match, players Mohamed Shafraz, Yaish Musthafa, Mohamed Hassaan Ahmed, Muslim Mohamed and Ali Shaaz Hilmy scored goals for the Criminal Court. Hassaan and Shaaz both scored two goals each. 

BCC's goals were scored by Saamy Abdul Rahman and Mohamed Eaman Ahmed. 

Last year, Criminal Court lost 3-9 to Binara in the semi-finals. 

The final face off between Binara and Criminal Court is scheduled for 9pm on Friday.
