New Radiant and Maziya are set to face each other in the final of the ongoing Under-19 Youth Championship.

Maziya secured their spot in the final by defeating Odi Sports 1-0 this afternoon at the Galolhu Stadium in the last match of the league round.

Maziya's sole goal was scored in the 89th minute by captain Mohamed Ilan Imran. Breaking away from two Odi Sports players inside the center circle, he drove the ball alone into the penalty area and slotted it into the far corner of the net. This was his 13th goal of the tournament.

With this result, Maziya topped the league round of the six-team tournament, securing 13 points from five matches. New Radiant finished second with 11 points. Odi Sports concluded in third place with ten points.

The match between New and Maziya during the league round ended in a 3-3 draw. Maziya and New will face each other in the final next Friday night at 9:00 p.m.

Previously, New and Maziya competed against each other in the Youth Championship final during the inaugural tournament in 2011. Maziya won that year's tournament, which was held for the under-20 category, with a 1-0 scoreline. Maziya won the tournament for the second time last year.
