GDh. Gadhdhoo has secured the final spot in the 2026/2027 season of the Dhivehi Premier League (DPL), with Club Green Streets having been relegated. 

Gadhdhoo won 1-0 against TC Sports Club in their most DPL playoff game.

The goal was scored by Donalio Melachio Douanla.

With this result, Gadhdhoo has secured 6 points from four matches. The team is in fourth place in a playoff that includes six teams.

While the top four teams in the playoffs will qualify for the 2026/2027 DPL season, four teams have secured their slots before each team's final games.

The teams are the South Region League champion Gadhdhoo, North Region League champion HA. Dhidhdhoo in third place with 7 points, TC Sports Club in second place with 7 points, and Male' Region League Second Division champion Biss Buru Sports Club in first place with 10 points.

While the Football Association of Maldives began work this year to establish a league system that would include all of Maldives, the four regional leagues are the Second Division in Maldives' football pyramid, with the first being the DPL.

The 7th place and 8th place holders in this season of the DPL are TC Sports Club and Club Green Streets, with them having competed in the playoffs. Green Streets secured 2 points in four matches and has been relegated.

Green Streets began playing for the First Division after becoming the champion team in the Second Division in 2016. The team has been playing in the DPL every season since 2017. In 2017, the team secured second place in the Male' league and played in the DPL for the first time. However, after seven seasons, Green Streets will be playing in the Second Division next season.

Along with Green Streets, the other team to have not qualified to play in the DPL is Central League champion K. Huraa. Huraa secured 1 point in four matches.
