Nooh Mohamed Dhunaim Irushad has claimed the title of Junior Surfing champion in the Eleyi's, the Dhivehi Surf League's first event for the year, which was held in Fuvahmulah.

This is the first time the 15 year old has won a league event. He scored 9.07 points in the final heat against Mohamed Inan, with Inan scoring 8.93 points.

A total of 16 athletes competed in the Junior division, with Nooh beating the 2025 Junior League champion Yasin Ahmed Nashid with a 2.1 point difference in the semi final. Nooh scored a total of 11.77 points, while Yasin scored a total of 9.67 points.

Inan surfed against Kayan Abdulla Areef in the semi final heat and scored a total of 11.74 points. Kayan scored 10.27 points.

This is the first time Nooh has progressed to the final in a Surf League event. However, he has gone to the final in the Under-14 event of the National Junior Surfing Championship in 2024.

In 2025, Nooh placed third in three National Bodyboarding League events, with him placing third in the league as well.
