With a first-half hat-trick scored by Mohamed Nasheed, Biss Buru Sports has moved closer to securing a spot in the upcoming season's Premier League.

In the Premier League playoff match played at the Galolhu Stadium this afternoon, Biss Buru Sports won 6-0 competing against GDh. Gaddhoo.

While Nasheed took the lead for Biss Buru in the second minute of the match, he scored the goal to extend the lead in the 15th minute. Ten minutes later, Amir Shuaib Al Siddiq Mohamed scored the third goal, while Mahmoodh Ashraf Musthafa scored the fourth goal six minutes after that. Nasheed completed his hat-trick in the third minute of added time.

Nasheed scored a total of four goals in the match. He scored Biss Buru's solitary goal of the second half in the 71st minute.

With this result, Biss Buru has secured seven points from three matches, tying on points with tournament front-runners TC Sports Club. Neither team has suffered a defeat yet, with Biss Buru leading on a goal difference of plus nine. TC has a goal difference of plus six.

In the playoffs featuring six competing teams, each team has two matches remaining. Both Biss Buru and TC require just a single point to guarantee a Premier League spot.

The top four teams from the playoffs will qualify for the 2026/2027 season's Premier League. Currently sitting third in the playoffs is HA. Dhidhdhoo, having secured six points from three matches. Gaddhoo has obtained three points from three matches. K. Huraa and Club Green Streets have also secured one point each.
