TC Sports Club are now in first after winning 3-0 against Green Streets last night in the Dhivehi Premier League (DPL) qualifiers.

The goals were scored by Ibrahim Jimo, Prince Boadu and Aiham Hamdhoon.

TC have won two out of their three matches and drew their third match, securing 7 points. Their first match was against Male' Regional League Second Division champion Biss Buru Sports where they drew 1-1. TC beat HA. Dhidhdhoo in their second match 3-0.

Dhidhdhoo beat Gadhdhoo 1-0 in their first match and then beat K. Huraa 3-1 during yesterday evening's match, securing 6 points in three matches and are now second in the six-team qualifier.

Biss Buru sits in third with 4 points from two matches. Their second match saw them beat Green Streets 5-2.

Gadhdhoo has 3 points from two matches, with their points coming from them beating K. Huraa 2-1.

Huraa has secured 1 point in three matches. Their 1 point comes from their 1-1 draw against Green Streets. Green Streets also has 1 point in three matches.

While the Football Association of Maldives (FAM) has begun efforts this year to establish a league that includes all of Maldives, the playoffs are seeing DPL's 7th and 8th place holders TC Sports Club and Club Green Streets, and the four Regional League champions within the Second Division compete against each other.

The champions are North Region League Champion HA. Dhidhdhoo, Central League Champion K. Huraa, South League Champion GDh. Gadhdhoo and Male' Region League Second Division Champion Biss Buru Sports Club.

The top four teams in the playoffs will qualify for DPL's 2026/2027 season.
