Maldives' captain Ilan Imran and India's forward Omang Dodum have been named the joint top scorers for the 2026 SAFF U-20 Championship.

Both players scored three goals in the championship.

Ilan scored two goals against Sri Lanka in the Group Stage and one goal against Nepal in the final match of the Group Stage.

This is the first time a Maldivian player has received an individual award in a SAFF championship that catered to a specific age group.

Dodum scored two goals against Pakistan in the Group Stage. One of those goals was a penalty. Later on, he scored the opening goal for India against Bhutan in the semi-finals.

India lost against Bangladesh in the finals 4-3 via a penalty shootout, after the game had reached full time with a 1-1 draw.

While Dodum's penalty attempt was unsuccessful, he was awarded the Player of the Match in the finals.

Dodum also won the Most Valuable Player Award in the 2026 SAFF U-20 Championship. Bangladesh's Mohamed Ismail Hossain Mahin was named the Best Goalkeeper.

Maldives won the Fair Play Award from the championship.
