India secured a dominant 5-0 victory over Bhutan in the second semi final of the SAFF Under-20 Championship to secure their place in the final.

India took control from the start, with Omang Dodam opening the scoring in the fourth minute. The move began with a long pass from Bangsan, setting up Rohan before the ball was converted.

The lead was doubled before half-time when Arbash finished a well-worked chance created by Omang, his fifth goal contribution of the tournament.

India extended their advantage early in the second half through Rohan Singh, who then struck again less than a minute later, finishing a through ball from Arbash to make it 4-0.

Despite missing several chances after the fourth goal, India added a fifth in stoppage time, with substitute Malemngamba Singh firing into the bottom corner.

With the win, India advance to the final on Friday, where they will face Bangladesh, who defeated Nepal to reach their first final. The two sides also met in last year’s final.
