Two experienced individuals in the scene of Maldivian football have been elected to two integral committees in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). The two individuals are Abdul Hameed Abdul Ghafoor (Addo) and Ismail Siman.
The two were elected during SAFF's Extraordinary Congress held on 26th January, with their four-year term to come to an end in January 2030.
Ismail Siman was elected as the Deputy Chairperson of SAFF's Disciplinary and Ethics Committee. He was also elected as a member of the Electoral Committee.
Maldives' famous Match Commissioner Abdul Hameed Abdul Ghafoor (Addo) was elected as a member of SAFF's Appeals Committee.

Siman has gained experience in the legal and sports sector. He has worked as a member of FAM's most recent Normalization Committee.
Abdul Hameed Abdul Ghafoor (Addo)
Abdul Ghafoor is a notable Match Commissioner in the history of Maldivian football. Along with Maldivian football, he has been a Match Commissioner for many Asian and regional tournaments. An individual who is well versed in the rules and regulations of football, Abdul Ghafoor is someone who conducts training sessions in AFC's technical programs.
