In the Maldives Sports Awards, Abdul Haseeb (Bodybuilding) and Aishath Neesha Haleem (Netball) have been recognized as Coaches of the Year.
Maldives' most successful netball coach, Neesha, has received this award two years in a row.
Other nominees for the title include young netball coach Aishath Loona Moosa and handball coach Nashfa Amira. Loona came second, while Nashfa came third.
Best Coach (Male) award went to bodybuilding coach Haseeb, who competed against athletics coach Hussain Haleem and handball coach Hassan Faheem.
Technical Official of the Year (Female) title went to Shimla (handball). Other nominees were also from handball, Fathimath Malsha and Shizna Rasheed.
Technical Officer of the Year (Male) award went to Mohamed Yameen (Table Tennis). Other nominees for the category were Hussain Mohamed and Ismail Abdulla, both from volleyball.
