CHSE Male' crowned Champions of Diamond Jubilee U19 Invitational Cup

CHSE Male' has emerged as Champions of the Diamond Jubilee Under 19 Invitational Cup.

CHSE Male' won the title through defeating Ahmadhiyya International School with a score of 4-1 in the final match played this afternoon. 

The final match saw both teams score goals only into the second half. 

CHSE Male' took the lead initially, with Ahmed Mikyal Mueen scoring a goal through a penalty. Ahmadhiyya then equalized the score with a penalty shot by Ali Alaan Ashraf. 

CHSE Male' once again pulled ahead, this time through a goal created by Ismail Shaamil from outside the box. Mohamed Saim Ibrahim Faiz then struck the third, before Mikyal, later named Man of the Match, delivered the decisive final goal. 

Mikyal is also the Top Scorer of the tournament. The tournament's Best Player is Nashiu Ahmed, also of CHSE Male'.

Diamond Jubilee U19 Invitational Cup FINAL

The tournament had four high schools competing: CHSE Male', Ahmadhiyya International School, CHSE Hulhumale' and Villa International High School. 

CHSE Male' won the championship without conceding a single match. They have also been confirmed as the tournament's Fair Play team. 

FAM has planned two Diamond Jubilee Invitational Tournaments for the year to mark 75 years of football in Maldives. The next tournament will be held from June 1 to 10 between senior teams.
