New Radiant defeated United Victory last night 2-0 in the Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League, holding their position in third.

A corner kick from Ali Fasir (Sentey) in the 36th minute saw defender Mohamed Nizam (PK) score. A cross from Guilherme de Silva in the 65th minute saw Alhaji Jero extend their lead once more.

With this win, New Radiant has secured 30 points in 15 matches. Buru Sports sits in fourth place with 29 points. Odi Sports is in second with 35 points.

New Radiant's next game will be against the Eagles on Thursday. After that, they will play against Maziya and then against Green Streets, marking the end of the league. Buru Sports will play against Maziya, Odi and then TC.

UV's loss keeps them in last place with 7 points in 15 matches. Valencia and Green Streets both have 8 points, with TC having acquired 9 points.

The two teams that are at the bottom of the league will be automatically relegated, with the two teams above them having to participate in a play-off game.

UV are still yet to play against Green Streets, Valencia and Victory.
