Laamu Gan defeated Kaafu Huraa in the second semi-final of the VAM Super League, a national volleyball tournament featuring teams from cities and islands across Maldives.

With the win, the tournament final will be an all-Laamu atoll clash. Gan will face Laamu Maabaidhoo in the final tonight. Maabaidhoo secured their place after defeating Shaviyani atoll Funadhoo in the first semi-final played yesterday evening.

Funadhoo and Huraa had advanced to the semi-finals after winning all their group-stage matches. However, both teams were eliminated by Laamu atoll sides in the knockout stage.

The third-place playoff will be contested between Funadhoo and Huraa this evening.

Gan sealed their semi-final victory with set scores of 26–24, 11–25, 28–18 and 25–16. The match was played yesterday.

The final will take place tonight at 8:30 pm at the Social Center Indoor Hall.
