Eagles climbed to fifth in the Dhivehi Premier League after Zain Zafar's two goals secured victory over United Victory.

Eagles won last night's match against United Victory (UV) with a score of 4-1. Yesterday afternoon, Victory lost to Maziya, and last night Eagles won against United Victory, giving Eagles a two point lead ahead of Victory.

Zain Zafar took the lead for Eagles in the 32nd minute of the match. Eagles played the pass, and Zain, unmarked, fired it cleanly into the net. UV's defender attempted to deflect the pass with a headshot, but it was a near miss.

Before the end of the first half, Eagles widened the lead with a goal from Mohamed Sabah Masroor. In the 59th minute, UV gained a goal, shot by Egyptian player Mohamed Samir.

Just five minutes later, Zain scored his second goal of the match. Sierra Leone midfielder Ibrahim Lebe advanced the ball along UV's flank and set up Zain, who finished with ease.

Eagles' fourth goal was scored by Ibrahim Mahdhy Hussain (Feydhoo Ibbe').

The Dhivehi Premier League will feature two matches today as well. The afternoon will see Buru Sports play against Valencia, followed by a match tonight between New Radiant and TC.
