Spanish technical director appointed for New Radiant

New Radiant Sports Club has appointed former Spanish player Francisco Manuel Caínzos as its technical director.

In his new role, Caínzos will oversee the technical affairs of the club’s senior team, the newly established B team, the women’s team, and the academy.

New Radiant said Caínzos’ experience and technical expertise are expected to bring positive changes to the club’s overall football structure and development.

Maldivian clubs do not usually appoint a separate technical director, with the senior team head coach often handling technical responsibilities.

New Radiant’s senior team is currently coached by Ali Suzain, while senior team assistant coach Mohamed Faisal (Kattey) has been appointed as the head coach of the B team.

Caínzos was born in Barcelona, Spain, and played across various divisions of Spanish football from the 1980s through the early 2000s.
