Forward Ahmed Rizwan (Rizey), who was speculated to sign with New Radiant, has left Eagles to play for Victory under loan.

Rizwan held transfer discussions with Eagles to move to New Radiant. A New Radiant official had told Mihaaru News on Sunday that they were working to bring Rizwan to their team.

Sources told Mihaaru News that talks between New Radiant and Eagles came to a halt due to New Radiant not agreeing to the Eagles' request to transfer another player to them after Rizwan's transfer to New Radiant.

However, the request to transfer a Victory player to Eagles was not made during Victory's and Eagles' discussions. Nevertheless, it has been made known to Mihaaru News that Eagles had put forth a condition to Victory that they were not to have Rizwan play against them during matches. Victory agreed to these terms from Eagles.

The second round of the Dhivehi Premier League will begin tomorrow, with the first match being played by Victory against Eagles. The match is set to take place on Saturday evening.

Rizwan signed for Victory under loan until the end of the season.

Victory has let go of Syria national football team goalkeeper Mahmoud Al-Youssef and have signed Nepal's top goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong.

Kiran has played for Maziya and TC in the past, with his most recent team he played for being the Police Club in the Bangladesh Football League.
