Famed footballer from B. Eydhafushi Mohamed Fasir (Faatte) has signed to New Radiant.

Mohamed is set to return to the First Division after a hiatus amounting to a few years.

In the past, Mohamed has played for All Youth Linkage (AYL) and Eagles, both teams that have competed in the First Division. Mohamed played an important role for the Eydhafushi team during last year's Gold Cup as team captain, and was named best player in the cup as well.

The current New Radiant Captain Ali Fasir (Sentey) is the younger sibling of Mohamed. The siblings are set to reunite on the Galolhu Stadium pitch. They had played together in the Gold Cup as well, along with playing together in AYL and Eagles in the past.

Mohamed is coming back to the First Division after 15 years. The last time he played for the First Division was in 2009 for AYL. He suffered a major injury in that year, resulting in him having to step away from the First Division. However, he had played for the Eydhafushi team during FAM's Minivan Championship, the Ooredoo team and the Eydhafushi team for futsal as well.

He has also played in the AFC Futsal qualifiers that was held in Myanmar in September.

The Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League is currently in its second transfer season after the league's first round. The second round will begin in the middle of this month. FAM has not publicized the schedule for the matches as of yet.
