The two teams at the bottom of the leaderboard, Green Streets and TC drew last night with a score of 2-2.
The game was played at the national football stadium, with Green Streets taking the lead twice. TC had managed to come back each time, securing a draw.
TC and Green Streets have the same points on the leaderboard as well with five points each. United Victory are trailing behind them with four points.
As TC coach Ahsan Rasheed was suspended for last night's game, Assistant Coach Mariyam Mirfath led the team in his stead.
Green Streets' Mohamed Saagib scored the first goal of the match in the 9th minute. Saagib capitalized on a mistake made by TC defender Mohamed Yazdhaan Hussain, sprinting into the penalty box and scoring a goal.
TC's Egyptian keeper Mohamed Hassan gave the ball to Yazdhaan, with him controlling the ball. However, Saagib was able to take the ball from him.
TC was able to equalize due to a mistake made by a Green Streets defender. The defender was working to move up the field from outside their penalty box. TC's Ghana forward Prince Boadu was able to claim possession, run into the penalty box and score the goal.
Before the first half ended, Rilwan Waheed (Kaka RIley) was able to put Green Streets back into the lead. Green Street's defender Ibrahim Haseeb kicked the ball with significant force from the center circle all the way to TC's penalty box. TC's goalkeeper Mohamed Hassan worked to defend against this attack.
The ball deflected off of his hand back into the penalty area, with Rilwan sending the ball into an empty goal.
TC equalized again within the sixth minute of the second half, with Mohamed Dhanish scoring the goal.
