While representing Maldives independently, Fathimath Nabaha Abdul Razzaq and Aminath Nabeeha Abdul Razzaq have won silver in the Doubles category in the Botswana International Badminton Series.

They faced off against the same South African pair they had played against in last week's final in the Zambia International Badminton Series.

Nabaha and Nabeeha lost to South Africans Amy Ackerman and Johanita Scholtz in the Zambia competition final, who won in two straight sets. However, their first set against the pair this time around saw Nabaha and Nabeeha take the win.

Nevertheless, the next two sets saw the Maldivian pair lose, winning them silver. The set scores were 19-21, 21-13 and 21-15.

Zambia International Badminton Series champion Hussain Zayan Zaki and Nabaha won bronze medals during the Botswana event.

The Maldives pair lost in the semi-finals to Amy Ackerman and South African player Robert Summers.

The Maldivian Revival Sports players who went to the competition will be participating in the South Africa Badminton competition, which will begin on Thursday and end next Sunday.
