Ibbe’s goal defeats New Radiant, Odi jumps to second place

In the Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League match tonight, Odi Sports Club defeated New Radiant Sports Club 1-0, thanks to a goal scored by Ibrahim Waheed Hassan (Ibbe Waheed). With this victory, Odi has moved up to the second spot in the league table.

This is the first defeat for New Radiant this season since their return to the first division. Following this result, the only team remaining undefeated in the league is the champion, Maziya. Both New Radiant and Odi have now lost one match.

Odi's previous loss was against Maziya in the final moments of their last match before the recent international break. Maziya leads the table with 24 points from eight wins. Odi has climbed to second place with 19 points. New Radiant has dropped to third place with 17 points.

This match was also the first official encounter between the two teams in history. Although they both competed in the second division recently, New Radiant was eliminated in the semi-finals, preventing them from facing Odie.
