Buru Sports Club lost the opportunity to move up the leader board to fourth place after TC Sports Club equalized during the final moments of the match last night.

TC scored during the second minute of extra time during last night's Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League game, with the match ending with a 1-1 score.

The game was played at Maldives National Stadium, with Buru having a hard time holding back TC's goal. Buru's Hodgson Diaz scored in the 75th minute for his team.

A Buru player ran into TC's penalty box, with Egyptian goalkeeper Mohamed Hassan stepping out of goal to defend it. The Buru player's strike rebounded off the goalkeeper, with the ball landing at Hodgson's feet, allowing him to tap the ball into an empty goal.

However, TC did not give Buru a chance to win. A shot that had come from TC creating an opportunity rebounded off Buru's goal post, with Buru unable to clear the ball in time. TC's Mohamed Dhanish Ibrahim capitalized on this and scored for his team.

Buru currently has 8 points. They are currently in 6th place, with Victory in 5th and Eagles in 4th. Eagles and Victory both have 9 points.

The league has been put on hold for 12 days after last night's match. This is in preparation for Maldives to play against Philippines in the Asian Cup qualifiers.

Maldives will be playing against the Philippines on 18th November.
