Hamza’s last-minute goal gives Maziya 1-0 win over Odi Sports Club

Hamza Mohamed (Hampu) scored a a goal in the seventh minute in extra time goal to secure Maziya’s 1–0 victory over Odi Sports Club last night. 

The match appeared headed for a goalless draw until Hamza latched onto a pass from Ahmed Aiham (Fatho) and calmly slotted the ball past the goalkeeper, marking his fourth goal of the season and upholding Maziya’s winning streak.

The result pushes Maziya to 21 points from seven matches.

For Odi Sports, the defeat marks their first loss of the season, leaving them with 16 points from seven games.

With the win, Maziya and New Radiant remain the only unbeaten sides in the league.

New Radiant are set to play Green Streets later this evening, while Eagles will face United Victory in the day’s other fixture.
