Odi Sports Club defeated Club Green Streets 4-0 tonight in the Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League, extending their strong run of form.

Playing at the Galolhu Stadium, Odi Sports took a commanding two-goal lead within the first seven minutes of the match.

The first goal came in the fourth minute. As foreign forward Karolis Laukžemis played a low ball across, Ibrahim Waheed Hussain (Ibbe Waheed) struggled to direct it. Green's goalkeeper, Vishaam Abdul Majeed, attempted a clearance, but the ball unfortunately rebounded off Ibbe Waheed and into the net. This was Ibbe Waheed's third goal of the season.

Vishaam is the fourth goalkeeper to tend Green's goal this season. Their first-choice keeper, Ahmed Rameez, was injured in the fourth match against Buru Sports, with Yanaal Muneez taking over for the remainder of that game. Muneez started last week's match against Maziya but was injured early in the first half, leading Mifzaal Idrees to take his place. Mifzaal was on the bench for tonight's match.

Odi's second goal came just three minutes later, in the seventh minute. It was scored by young midfielder Ahuzam Rasheed from a ball played in by Ahmed Aiham (Aihu). This was the third league goal for the 18-year-old, who also represents the National Team. He was named the Man of the Match tonight.

The third goal was scored in the 40th minute by Muzdhan Hassan. He received a pass from Ahuzam, took a shot inside the box that was blocked, regained possession, and fired the ball into the top corner of the net. This marks the fourth goal for the 19-year-old forward in six appearances for the team this season.

The fourth goal was scored by Aihu just three minutes into the second half. Aihu struck the ball from outside the box, from a pass by Ahuzam, and it struck the post before entering the goal.

With this result, Odi Sports climbs to second place with 16 points from six matches. Maziya currently leads the league with 18 points. New Radiant is currently in third place with 13 points, having played one less match.

Green Streets has so far earned only three points from six matches.
