Opportunities wasted, Eagles brings New Radiant to a halt

New Radiant were slowed down by Eagles last night during their Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League game, with both teams having not scored and ending the match in a draw.

New Radiant has been showing the best form in the league as of yet, with them winning four of their previous matches without conceding any goals.

New Radiant did not concede during last night's game either. The only player to score past New Radiant's Pakistani goalkeeper Saqib Hanif is Eagles' Ibrahim Mahudhee Hussain (Feydhoo Ibbe) as of yet this season.

Mahudhee was able to go past Saqib last night but the shot lacked power, with a New Radiant defender clearing the ball over the goal.

The Eagles were the team that had slowed Odi Sports as well while they were on a good run. This week saw the Eagles bring New Radiant's win streak to an end.

New Radiant moved up to second on the leaderboard after securing a point. However, this does not put any pressure on Maziya, with them being in first with a two-point lead.
