Road Recreation Club (RRC) has claimed the title of champion in the Club Maldives Cup 2025.

RRC beat STO Recreation Club during last night's final with a score of 7-5.

STO is the most decorated team in the cup, with four CMC championships under their belt. RRC has won the cup twice before this, once in 2017 under the name MRDC, with their second championship win in 2021 under the name RRC.

STO has played and lost against WAMCO in the last two cups. WAMCO was knocked out of the competition during the round of 16 by STO to penalties.

RRC scored two goals in the first half last night, with them being scored by Ali Shamis (Thoppey). He was assisted by Iraqi Mohsen Montazemi for both goals, with Montazemi being the Player of the Match. STO's Al Khodadadi scored a goal in the final minutes of the first half, assisted by Ali Haisam (Chumpu).

RRC's Montazemi scored their fourth goal in the second half, assisted by goalkeeper Mohamed Lufshan. Subsequently, STO's Ismail Easa (Messi) scored but RRC extended their lead once again due to an own goal from STO.

Ahmed Aflaaz scored the fifth and sixth goal for RRC. His first goal was assisted by Adam Nasih (Aadhanna). He scored the second goal by running up the side of the pitch and shooting from a narrow angle. Their seventh goal was scored by Adam Nasih.

STO scored their final three goals within the last two minutes of the match. Ismail Easa scored two goals, with the last one being scored by Imran Mohamed (Immi). The final two goals were assisted by Ali Ifaaz. 

RRC has also won the Kings Cup earlier in the Club Maldives season this year. 

The Club Maldives season only has the sector league left. Last night's CMC coming to an end marks five tournaments having been played. 

The CMC Classic was won by Home for People with Special Needs (HPSN).

In the Women's Division, Dhivehi Sifainge Club claimed the title of the Club Maldives Eighteen Thirty champion, with the Correction Services Prison Club claiming the Eighteen Thirty Classic champion title.
