Green Streets (GS) secured a last minute victory against Eagles with a 3-2 score.
Eagles had scored one point from one match they played out of their four games so far. That was the match they played against Buru Sports in the second week of the league.
Eagles saw defeat at the hands of Maziya on two occasions, which was during the Charity Shield match and the pre-season match.
GS player Iraq's Ubaidha Hadhim Ahmed turned the tides for them during Wednesday nights game.
The Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League game saw GS take the lead in the 11th minute.
GS player Ibrahim Imad sent a low ball through the Eagles defense from outside the box. Ubaidha capitalized on the pass and subsequently scored a goal. Eagles keeper Mohamed Ashwan was late to defend the shot.
GS's second goal was scored by Captain Rilwan Waheed with a shot from within the center circle. Eagles keeper Ashwan was standing far from the goal, allowing Rilwan to send the ball over Ashwan's head and into the goal.
Eagles scored their first goal in the first half, with Japanese midfielder Katsuyoshi Kimijima scoring.
Their second goal was scored in the second half by Ahmed Rizwan. Abdulla Sameeh Moosa drilled a through pass to Rizwan into GS's half. Rizwan didn't give GS keeper Ahmed Rameez a chance to defend his shot, securing the second goal.
GS did not give Eagles the chance to end the game on a draw.
GS was awarded a free kick from the middle of the Eagles half, with RIlwan sending the ball into the penalty box.
GS's Egyptian midfielder Al Saeed Abdul Faththah Mahmood headed the ball to the front of the goal, with Ubaidha heading the ball into goal.
