Maziya has defeated TC with a score of 3-0 after Mohamed Ilan Imran puts one on the board after coming back from the U-17 National Team games.

Ilan scored the third goal during last night's Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League.

After having played for the Charity Shield match on 15th September and playing a part in Maziya's match afterwards, Ilan played in the U-17 National Team in the ongoing Under 17 SAFF Championship at Sri Lanka.

Ilan was unable to play for Maldives during their first game in the SAFF Championship due to him having to play in the Charity Shield match. He linked up with the National Team in Sri Lanka the day after the Charity Shield match.

Maldives suffered defeat in the three games they played, marking their end in the championship.

Ilan was at the National Team camp in Sri Lanka during Maziya's game against the Eagles in the opening game of the league last Thursday.

His first match back saw him score a goal, with him getting the chance to do so before that goal as well. He scored his goal with the assist of a low ball from the penalty box by Nassah Ibrahim Nasir.

He proceeded to calmly tap the ball into the goal. There was nothing the TC goalkeeper could do.

Maziya scored their first two goals in the first half. Both goals were assisted by Hamza Mohamed (Hampu). He has assisted two other times in two league games, bringing the Vice Captain's total assists to four.

Maziya's first goal was scored in the first minute of the game by Spanish forward Sergio Mendigutxia and was assisted by a cross from Hamza.

The second goal was scored before the first half ended by Hassan Nazeem (Choatu), with Hamza assisting him via a low pass into the penalty box.

Ahmed Aiham (Fatho) had shown a great performance during last night's game, just as he did for the season's opening game. He was also named the Player of the Match last night.
