Basketball: Men and women's teams to face Bangladesh

In the Under 16 Asia Cup Qualifying tournament currently being held in the Male', both the Men and Women's team of Maldives are set to face off against Bangladesh in the match to select the second runner up.

In addition to Maldives and Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India are participating in this tournament.

In the first match, the Maldives' Women's team won against Bangladesh with a score of 17-104. However, they then lost to both Sri Lanka and India.

On Friday, they lost to Sri Lanka with 45-71, and yesterday to India with 21-136.

The Men's team lost all three matches: 28-116 against Sri Lanka, 20-151 against India and 55-64 against Bangladesh.

The Men's match to select the second runner up is scheduled for 2:30pm today, where Maldives will play against Bangladesh. The Woman's match is as 12pm. Gold medal matches are in the evening.
