The accident occurred last night in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
Reports indicate that the motorcycle collided headfirst with a Police car.
Police said that the 18 year old riding the motorcycle suffered extensive injuries, and cited the hospital as saying his condition is serious.
Police have not yet stated how the accident occurred, and are conducting further investigations.
