Minister Rameez and State Minister Shamnaz suspended

Minister at the President’s Office Adam Rameez and his former wife State Minister at Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy, Fathimath Shamnaz Ali Saleem have both been suspended from their positions.

Chief Spokesperson of the President’s Office Heena Waleed confirmed the suspensions and detailed that the Rameez and Shamnaz were suspended due to an ongoing investigation. However, Heena had not revealed the nature of the investigation.
