"Raeesge Javaabu" series to resume, public video submissions open

"Raeesge Javaab," a social media series where the President directly responds to public questions, has resumed and is now open for video submissions from the public.

According to the President’s Office, recorded questions can be uploaded via the Citizen’s Voice portal at (https://citizensvoice.gov.mv) or through the President’s Office website.

The President will answer questions submitted via this platform starting from this weekend.

Originally launched in February 2024, the series featured video responses from the President to public inquiries. Initially, a media team facilitated submissions by directly engaging with citizens.

However, this approach primarily benefited residents of the Greater Male' region, leaving those in other parts of the country at a disadvantage. To ensure fair participation, the series was temporarily suspended while an inclusive system was developed.

Following extensive efforts to improve accessibility, the series has now been relaunched with an updated portal, allowing citizens across the Maldives to submit video questions at any time, ensuring a more inclusive and transparent platform for public engagement.
