Fasuha Ahmed breaks 800m national record

Fasuha Ahmed shatters the national 800m record at the prestigious national time trials, showcasing her exceptional talent and speed.

Completing the race in an impressive time of 2 minutes 27.92 seconds, she surpassed the previous record held by Aishath Reesha, who had finished the event in 2 minutes 28 seconds during the Berlin World Championship in 2009.

Not only did Fasuha establish herself as a record-breaker in the 800m discipline, but she has also proven her prowess in multiple other track events. In last year's Inter-school Athletics Championship, she dominated the under 19 division's 800m category, securing first place.

Additionally, she achieved remarkable victories in the 1500m and 5000m races, setting a new record in 5000m.

Fasuha is also competing in the Athletics Association Championship and the National Grand Prix competition.
