World's first premium luxury airline "BEOND" opens office in Malé

BEOND, the world's first premium luxury airline, has recently inaugurated its office in the Maldives.

The airline's Malé office was inaugurated by State Minister of Transport Ahmed Zuhair, CEO of BEOND Tero Taskila and CEO of SIMDI Dr. Mariyam Shakeela.

Speaking at the ceremony, Taskila said that the company strives to become an airline that operates flights from the Maldives to 60 destinations worldwide within approximately five years of commencing operations. He said that this expansion would create numerous employment opportunities for many locals.

"By the end of this year, we aim to hire 200 employees. Once the airline operations commence, we will begin expanding our services, which will create approximately 1,500 additional jobs," he said.

During the ceremony, Dr. Shakeela said that the airline will bring a huge boost to tourism in Maldives. The ceremony was attended by Simdi CEO Dr. Mariyam Shakeela thanked the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Transport for their assistance and cooperation in the launch of the airline. She also noted that the airline would boost tourism in the country.

BEOND is scheduled to begin operations this year, and as part of its recruitment process, the airline held an open day last month. The event drew an impressive response, with over 4,000 applications and more than 150 local participants attending the walk-in interview.

BEOND is a leisure luxury airline that is introducing convenient long-distance travel options. is a leisure luxury airline that is launching easy long-distance travel. Their flight is designed to incorporate eco-friendly, sustainable technologies and has a seating capacity of 68 people.

According to BEOND, will offer flights to numerous destinations across Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa.
