Velaa Private Island distributed the highest service charge for the month of June, allotting USD 740.40 (MVR 11,416.97) per employee.
Service charge for the month of June was MVR 11,866.92 less than the MVR 23,283.89 (USD 1,509.98) allotted in the month of May.
In comparison to previous months, the service charge from all resorts for June was considerably less. Cheval Blanc Randheli had the second highest service charge in May, but it decreased to USD 400 (MVR 6,168) per employee in June, taking 30th place on the service charge list.
Veligandu Island Resort had the second highest service charge for the month of June, with USD 620 (MVR 9,560.40) per employee, similar to the month of May.
Hurawalhi Island Resort had the third highest service charge, with USD 605 (MVR 9,329.10) per employee. Veligandu and Hurawalhi hold 13th and 14th place on the service charge list respectively.
According to the Maldives Service Charge website, 55 out of 148 resorts submitted their information. On average, resorts in Maldives charge 10 percent as service charge.
