One of the two men arrested for attempting to flee after assaulting a man near Rehendhi Turf Stadium in Hulhumale' has been remanded in custody pending trial, while the other has been remanded for three days.
The suspects have been identified as Rusthum Ibrahim, 25, from Gaafu Dhaalu atoll Fiyori, and Saifulla Faisal, 19, from Baa atoll Goidhoo.

The incident occurred near Rehendhi Turf Stadium on Boaganvilla Magu, where the victim was reportedly sitting on a motorcycle when he was attacked by the two suspects, who were also on a motorcycle.
The men were arrested on the highway while fleeing the scene around 11:35 pm on Saturday.
Authorities recovered a weapon, believed to be an axe used in the attack, along with a knife from the area where the suspects were stopped.
