Maldivian authorities have deported two expatriate women for alleged prostitution.
Immigration said two foreigners were arrested in a joint operation with police against suspected prostitution rings.
The deported pair have been identified as 40 year old and 41 year old Vietnamese women.
Immigration said one was on a work visa and the other was on a tourist visa.
The two men have been deported, Immigration confirmed.
Immigration, late last year arrested seven women believed to be involved in prostitution and two foreign men working as agents. All of them had been deported after processing.
