In the second match, against Sri Lanka, Maldives lost with sets of 14-25, 14-25 and 11-25.
Maldives and Kyrgyzstan both have not won any matches so far in this tournament, which sees participation from total six teams.
Kyrgyzstan lost today's match against Turkmenistan with scores of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-19.
Both Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan have won both matches they have played so far.
Uzbekistan beat Nepal today with 1-3 sets, with scores of 19-25, 14-25, 29-27 and 15-25.
Maldives' third match in the round robin tournament will be played later today against Nepal. Nepal has defeated Sri Lanka in their first match.
On Thursday, Maldives will play against Uzbekistan. The last match of this round will be on Friday against Kyrgyzstan.
