The Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened a self-service banking ATM center in Thaa Atoll Hirilandhoo.
The new service introduction in the local island falls under the bank's ongoing investment program to support local communities by expanding banking services across the Maldives.
Reportedly, the new self-service ATM center will support "individuals and businesses" in depositing and transferring money on a round-the-clock basis.
Commenting about the continued expansion process, the bank's CEO and Managing Director Mr. Tim Sawyer said, "we are delighted to expand our self-service banking services and support the community of Hirilandhoo."
"This center will benefit the people and businesses of the island and ensure that convenient banking services are widely accessible," he further added.
Currently, the atoll has a BML branch along with self-service banking facilities in Guriadhoo and Veymandoo as well as a self-service banking ATM center in Thimarafushi, apart from the latest addition in Hirilandhoo.
