De Staercke comes to Emerald Faarufushi with strong expertise in resort operations and management in the Maldives and Asia, having served as General Manager at SAii Lagoon Maldives during Covid-19's chaotic height. With a background in food and beverage administration, de Staerke is well-suited to establish Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa, which features an intriguing Deluxe All-Inclusive concept that includes meals and drinks at the resort's many bars, restaurants, and events.
