Ooredoo Nation has announced its plans to host a PUBG Championship on July 21, with a prize pool of MVR 100,000.

According to Ooredoo's announcement, the PUBG Championship will span across two days. The first day of the competition will involve virtual matches, while the second day will be held live at Rehendhi School's hall. The matches are scheduled from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

The award ceremony for the PUBG Championship will take place on July 22.

Ooredoo has announced that the first prize winner of the PUBG Championship will be awarded a grand prize of MVR 50,000. The runner-up will receive a prize of MVR 30,000, while the third-place will be awarded MVR 15,000. With a total prize pool of MVR 100,000 this tournament is the largest of its kind to be held in the Maldives, according to Ooredoo.

The teams that will play in the Ooredoo Nation's PUBG Championship were selected from the 16 teams that competed and won the 'Road to 100K' qualifying tournaments held last year, including The Contender Series 1, 2 and 3, and the Wild Card Entry Series.

Ooredoo said that the PUBG Championship provides a valuable platform to showcase the talent within the gaming community of the Maldives.
