Ooredoo Maldives unveils special data packs for PUBG players

Telecom giant Ooredoo Maldives on Wednesday launched a first of its kind PUBG add-on for gaming enthusiasts, with data allowances offered specifically for the game.

In a press release, Ooredoo unveiled multiple data packages customised for PUBG players, including an Unlimited Pack:

- 'PUBG50', valued at MVR 50 with 1 GB valid for seven days

- 'PUBG100', valued at MVR 100 with 2 GB valid for 30 days

- 'PUBGUnlimited', valued at MVR 250 with unlimited data allowance valid for 30 days

"PUBG Mobile is one of the most popular games to hit the Maldives and many gamers spend long hours enjoying the battles. Our new PUBG packs gives customers more control in how they use data on Ooredoo's nationwide 4G+ network, and enables a lot more fun-filled hours with fellow gamers attempting to win hard earned chicken dinners", said Ooredoo Maldives' CEO Najib Khan.

Customers can subscribe to the PUBG plans through the My Ooredoo App, by texting <PackName> to 5555, or by dialing *929*5*1#.
