This third race of the year's Ooredoo Mas Race is being held in Lhaviyani Naifaru. Earlier this year, the tournament was held in Kaafu atoll Himmafushi and Gaafu Dhaalu atoll Thinadhoo, both of which received positive feedback.
The first place winner will be awarded MVR 25,000, while the second and third place teams will receive MVR 10,000 and MVR 5,000, respectively.
Additionally, those accorded as "Best Fisherman" and "Best Fisherwoman" will each be given a prize of MVR 1,000, along with a Pio Ultimate Sea Spirit/Gangster (H/D) rod.
The Ooredoo Mas Race is an annual fishing competition held in celebration of Ooredoo's anniversary and remains a popular event organized by the company each year.
