President's Office has announced that the official working hours during Ramadan will be from 09:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has declared today that the official working hours for the month of Ramadan this year will be from 09:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs on weekdays.
The President's Office said that these hours will be in effect during the month of Ramadan and the first seven days of the month of Shawwal.
The office said that like previous years since 2022, the official work hours have been set at four hours per day, and advised offices to structure their work in a manner that can be achieved within the assigned time period.
As per the calendar, the first day of Ramadan is expected to fall on March 11. Moon sighting for Ramadan has been scheduled for March 10.
