Speaking during the first episode of the podcast "Rayyithunnaa Eku" [With Citizens], President Muizzu said that the projects signed so far include both previously paused initiatives and newly launched ones.
More than 550 projects have been signed recently, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has said.
Speaking during the first episode of the podcast "Rayyithunnaa Eku" [With Citizens], hosted by the President’s Office to address various issues, President Muizzu said that the projects signed so far include both previously paused initiatives and newly launched ones.
He said many of these projects will be completed this year and next.
"We are working during this holiday and the last 10 days of Ramadan as well. These projects will hopefully start this month and continue into the next. Work on projects in various islands will also be expedited soon," he said.
President Muizzu added that the public will see the government managing the economy and fulfilling the people's needs.
The government has recently signed several development projects with state-owned companies, including MTCC, Fenaka Corporation, and the Road Development Corporation (RDC).
