Seaplane services began on March 31, coinciding with the celebrations of Fitr Eid. The flights have been popular, with two trips already reaching full capacity.
A scheduled trip is also planned for next Thursday. Each seaplane can carry between 12 and 13 passengers, with ticket prices set at MVR 1,099 per person.
The flight duration to Baa atoll Fulhadhoo is approximately 25 minutes.
Maldivian operates a fleet of 11 aircraft for its seaplane services.
In addition to the seaplane operations, the airline has also increased its domestic flights to meet the higher demand during Eid.
