In the last match of Group A played last night, Kan'duhulhudhoo lost 1-0 to Nilandhoo, whose Maufooz Abam scored the sole goal. With this, Nilandhoo has emerged as the second ranking team in Group A with 6 points, getting a spot in the atoll's semi-finals. At the top spot of the group is Dhaandhoo, who beat Gemanafushi 2-1.
In Group B of this atoll, the first place goes to Dhaandhoo which tied with Maamendhoo 3-3 and gathered 7 points. Vilin'gili, meanwhile, is ranked second after defeating Kolamaafushi with a score of 3-4.
Maduvvari has emerged as the second rank in Group A of Raa atoll, having tied with Rasgetheemu with no goals scored by either team. First rank goes to Alifushi, with 4 points.
Group B's first rank is Inguraidhoo, which won both its matches. In last night's match, Dhuvaafaru beat Meedhoo 1-7 and secured a spot in the semi's through ranking second in the group.
The last runner-up of the tournament, Gan, beat Maabaidhoo 0-2 and won it's second match as well. With this, they are now leading Group A and secured a spot in the semi-finals. Maabaidhoo, as well as Maavah, have zero points in their name. These two will face off against each other in the last match of the group.
Isdhoo, of Group B, beat Kalaidhoo 1-5 in last night's match, rising to the semifinals. Kalaidhoo has played both group stage matches now, and has a single point. Mundoo also has one point. In consideration of goal difference, Mundoo leads against Kalaidhoo at present. Mundoo will exit the tournament if they lose to Isdhoo in the last match with a five goal difference.
Hirilandhoo, in Group B of Thaa atoll, beat Kandoodhoo with a score of 2-4 and has risen to the top spot. Ranking second in the group is Buruni, which holds six points. Third is Veymandoo, with Gaadhiffushi as fourth with its three points. Veymandoo won against Gaadhiffushi yesterday with two goals scored by Mohamed Maumoon Hussain with a score of 2-0.
Thimarafushi has gone to the semi finals with a whopping nine points through winning their third match as well. They are now the leading team in Group A. Thimarafushi beat Vilufushi yesterday with a score of 0-6. Vilufushi has completed all four matches of the group stage, and ranks second in the group with six points.
Omadhoo, ranking third in the group, and Kim'bidhoo, at fourth, both received four points through three matches. Omadhoo defeated Dhiyamigili 1-6 yesterday, with Mohamed Nashwan scoring four goals. Dhiyamigili, meanwhile, has lost all three matches played so far. Omadhoo and Kimbi'dhoo both stand the chance to become second in the group.
This afternoon, the tournament will see Kaafu atoll matches played. Tonight, Alif Alif atoll, Alif Dhaalu atoll, Lhaviyani atoll and Vaavu atoll will be playing.
